Memorandum to Accredited Colleges / Universities Offering Course of
Study in NDT
Attention: Director NDT Studies The Nondestructive Testing Management Association is a
Non-Profit Organization with a membership of approximately 155 companies that
are involved with Nondestructive Testing throughout the world. Our members either provide Nondestructive
Testing services directly to clients as independent testing firms, or they may
be internal Nondestructive Testing Departments in a manufacturing
organization. If you are not familiar
with our organization, we would encourage you to look at our web-site www.ndtma.org, to see all the activities and
programs that we have for the benefit of the Nondestructive Testing industry. The reason for this letter is to introduce you to our newest
program, which is a Scholarship program, which will be available to students
that are focusing on a career in Nondestructive Testing. We are offering this scholarship program
through educational institutions such as yours, as a way to assist full-time
NDT students in their pursuit of a technical degree in this field. If you are interested in becoming one of
our sponsor institutions, we would request that you complete the attached
questionnaire and return it to us at your earliest convenience. Our plan is to offer a minimum of one
scholarship per year and it will be made available only through schools such as
yours that can provide students that are eligible and interested in pursuing
this program. Thank you for your time and interest and we are looking
forward to the opportunity to work with your institution and your NDT students
in assisting future students in pursuing a career in NDT. I hope you get a chance to visit our
website and if you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to
contact us for more information. Very truly yours, NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTING
MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION
